Health answers stay on your phone

When you first set up the app it asks a few questions about things you may have been advised to avoid. Your answers never leave the handset. They are turned into filters on the device, and the filtering happens there, against content already downloaded.

We record two things: that you answered, and which version of the disclaimer you accepted. Neither says anything about your health. Because we hold nothing, your answers do not follow you to a new phone — you answer again, which takes a moment.

No advertising or analytics libraries

The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software, and this site loads nothing from another company — no hosted fonts, no tags, no widgets. Product figures come from our own records.

What we do hold

• Your email address and name, for signing in.
• Your check-ins, credits, streak and the lists you save.
• Which programs you are following.

You can delete your account from inside the app. That removes all of it, and it is a deletion rather than a deactivation.
